Service Projects
Troop 1 has a long history of doing service projects in pelham. From Scout run eagle scout projects to helping out at local non-profits, Troop 1 always strives to help the community.
Eagle Scout Projects
In a scouts advancement journey, there is little more important than the Eagle Scout Project. The Eagle Scout Project is a project run by one scout to in some way help the local community. Some past Troop 1 ideas have included building pathways, painting an art center hallway, and even building a large trebuchet! Troop 1 carries out multiple of these projects every year and their impact can be seen in Pelham and the surrounding towns.
Community Service
Community service projects are a key part of Troop 1 outreach into the local community. These projects can include marching in the memorial day parade, participating in a town clean up, or helping local organizations run events. These service opportunities can help scouts later in life through lessons learned as well as a path way to organizations like the National Honor Society.
